For me, inspiration does not lie in one style or discipline. I find her in nature, architecture, technology, film, websites and spatial presentations, wherever material, light and attention together leave a strong impression.
My way of seeing
I am stimulated by work that is innovative, technically advanced or simply very beautiful. That can result from a futuristic interface Star Citizen the digital craftsmanship that used to stand out at FWA, but just as well the drawing in a magazine or a shop window in which one color changes the entire atmosphere.
I study what makes such an image work: the composition, an unexpected texture, the lighting, the contrast and, above all, the emotion that it creates. Not to copy the appearance, but to learn from the best and translate that quality into your own identity.

For me, drawing is not a casual creative exercise. It is a way of thinking ahead: forming a picture of reality, exploring possibilities and making an idea concrete enough to build it.

From the moment I could hold a pencil, I tried to make thoughts visible. This has only become stronger over the years: I think in concepts and use sketches to see what a space, object or technical solution could look like in reality.
On paper I don't just examine the outside. I look at perspective, proportions, material, light, construction and use. This way, a first instinct becomes a plan and I can discover early on what feels logical, what is missing and where the distinguishing detail is.
